The good news is I'm feeling just fine. My white blood cell count went back up so I was able to get treatment yesterday and I'm still attached to the chemo pump, but I'll get that off tomorrow. Then 12 days of freedom before I have to go back. Not bad, not bad at all.

You Don't Want to go Where Everybody Knows Your Name

It was a real drag when the counter staff at the H.E.B. pharmacy started greeting me by name. Soon after that I started getting my meds by mail.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as a former nurse, I bet they would feel even more friendly to you and start calling you "James" instead of "Mr. Rohlich" if you brought them cookies when you came. It's hard to be too formal with someone who is feeding you treats.
ReplyDeleteDoes it make you feel old? Enjoy your days off! Hope you have swimming weather. Love you.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a pretty nice group there. And at your age you can be 'Mr' Rohlich. Enjoy the freedom from the pump. I hope the swimming is good. Now that we're back in Mass. I'll start swimming again.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, James! We love you!!!
ReplyDeleteHi James, Thanks for the updates. Thinking about you. Glad they are taking good care of you!
